Location on the water, cobble stone streets outsdie, walking distance to good food and drink.
I reserved and paid a higher price for a King Size bed, but was given a room with a queen. When I questioned the front desk, I was told it was the same price anyway and that I could move the next night. My wife and I didn't want to repack, so we stayed with the queen room
It was very quiet and in a beautiful location. There should be 2 people working at the desk and better communications with the shuttle service. The staff was great, very nicely decorated and comfortable. I would go again.
Located in a less commercial part of Inner Harbor, Fells Point, but nice local pubs and shops in area. Henderson's Wharf has been my place to stay for over a decade if I am in Baltimore. Staff and facility is first class.
I enjoyed the comfortable feeling of the rooms. The antiques and overall design add warmth and comfort.
Very comfortable bed / linens... Very cozy / warm room, excellent location
We were fine with waiting, but it took quite a while for the desk clerk to return to the front and check us in upon arrival. We waited about 15 minutes. The clerk was very friendly, and we were not upset at all since the lobby was so comfortable and inviting.
Henderson's Wharf was a cozy hotel. It was quiet and upscale. The service and desk clerks were polite and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to a couple or couple looking for a quiet get away. There are plenty of restaurants in the area, and also a shuttle to transport to the Inner Harbor. We took the water taxi, which was a nice-scenic ride. It is off the beaten path, so you can relax or walk to town to party. In the morning, they put out a nice continental buffet. Fresh fruit, bagels, breads, coffee, it was really nice.
There wasn't anything I didn't like about Henderson's Wharf.
The friendlyness and patience of the front desk staff. The room The shuttle service Breakfast
Accommodations, convenience and parking. Excellent staff especially Raymond. Very helpful. Shuttle is a great benefit
Pillow are too "fluffy" Maybe a larger breakfast selection.
Loved the location, ambiance, amenities, patio, on the water...
Been there several times before. Attractive, ground level rooms, excellent location, but not as convenient as in the past.
Room not as booked. Smallish, courtyard view, soft, well worn Queen size bed instead of King which was reserved via Booked.net. Very attractive furniture, allegedly more costly room that, crowded with this furniture, seemed claustrophobic compared with rooms in the past. Staff "friendly," but not really interested in us, our needs, or even that we were dissatisfied; essentially they hoped we would just shut up and take what we were provided. The "going green" card, instead of informing staff that they need not replace any linens, meant: "Do Not Clean Room." This was extremely deceiving, and a thinly veiled effort to cut staff expense, having nothing to do with our natural resources. Overall: disappointing.
I was most impressed by the courtesy and friendliness of the staff.
Their fantastic staff and their beautiful location.
Nothing. Really one of the nicest inns in the world, and we have stayed in many others in many different countries.
The Inn was very quaint and Fell's Point very charming with cobblestone streets and nice shopping district. The shuttle was a great feature to get over to Inner Harbor. The room was romantic with the bottle of wine waiting when we entered our room. Coffee was great and the breakfast foods were a nice selection of fruits and breads/bagels. Room was nice and quiet by the water. Use of roomcard for parking was nice security feature. Shelby and Jan at the front desk were the best and very helpful and always pleasant. They always seem to be there!! Would love to return to the Inn again.
Our first room(because Booked.net made a mistake-we had 2 rms) had a beautiful bathroom but the tub/shower felt like it was floating--it felt like you were boarding. The room was also close to the quiant cobblestones and you could hear traffic through the night.
Excellent desk staff, adequate breakfast, perfect seaside location.
The cost. $100 too much compared with inland hotels.
Historical location on the water and walking distance to many pubs and restaurants
